On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the 8th Global Business Research Congress (GBRC-2022) on June 9, 2022, hosted by ISIK UNIVERSITY, Turkey. This year GBRC will be organized as an online congress. The previous congress included participants from 8 different countries, namely; Switzerland, United States, Jordan, Phillippines, Republic of Northern Cyrprus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkey. GBRC-2022 aims to bring together many distinguished researchers, academics and professionals from all over the world.
Manuscript in all areas of business such as accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, marketing, management, logistics, e-commerce, HRM, operations management, entrepreneurship and business law are welcome. The accepted papers will be announced after a double blind referee process. The presenters will find opportunity to present their papers and discuss with the other participants and listeners via an online platform. Therefore, no physical participation is required. Participants are required to connect the online system with a webcam computer at the time assigned for their 15-minute presentation. Registered participants are eligible to attend all online sessions, receive participation certificate, publish in Proceedings Book and publish in the conference journals.

Dr. Rommel Sergio is currently a Full Professor of Management at the Canadian University-Dubai. He previously served as a Professor and a Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Development Director at the Abu Dhabi School of Management, UAE. Prior to his spanning 20 years of teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs, Dr. Sergio served various organizations as an HR Director and as Organizational Development Consultant in the United Arab Emirates and in the Philippines.
Dr. Sergio holds two doctorate degrees: a Ph.D. in Management (with a concentration in Human Resource Management, with High-Level Distinction) at the University of Liverpool, UK; and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (Gold Medal for Highest Distinction) at De La Salle University, Philippines. He is a candidate for graduation at Pole Paris Alternance Business School, Paris, France under the Doctor of Business Administration program. He has been recognized by local and foreign award giving bodies for his contribution to academe and community, to wit: 2021 Outstanding Professor by the Global Education Summit and Awards; 2020 Dakilang Bayani Award by the Philippine Consulate in Dubai; 2018 Global Filipino Idol for Heroism by the ABS CBN, TFC, DZMM; 2018 Outstanding International Educator by the United Federation of Filipino American Educators; the Presidential Awardee by the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte for Outstanding Filipino-Individual Category; 2016 Top Global Educator Awardee by The Oxford Journal: An International Journal of Business and Economics, Cambridge University, UK; 2017-2020 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the Gulf by Illustrado Magazine, UAE; among others. Dr. Rommel is a humanitarian at heart, having led pro bono counseling programs for distressed workers. He was also extending his free educational consulting in some schools in Dubai through psychosocial services, HR, and organizational development. He has founded the Psychological Society of the Philippines-UAE Chapter and is part of providing free online counseling for the community in the Philippines, Middle East, and Europe during the pandemic.
